This milestone aligns with the birth month of Co-Founder Michael London’s son, Levi, who suffers from severe asthma, a personal story that underscores the urgency of reducing environmental impacts that contribute to public health challenges.

The initiative was unanimously supported by the company’s Board of Directors, reflecting a shared commitment to long-term sustainability.
Health and Environmental Impact
According to research published in PubMed, more than 5.1 million excess deaths annually are attributable to ambient air pollution from fossil fuel use. A study from Harvard University and partners found that over 8 million people worldwide died in 2018 due to fossil fuel-related pollution. Exposure to poor air quality significantly increases risks of asthma, strokes, lung disease, heart disease, and cancer.
